The title for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been revealed!
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will launch on Nintendo Switch May 12th, 2023.
The game itself was first announced back in June 2019, in which the trailer showed Link and Zelda searching for something together. However a series of delays have pushed the game right back.
Thankfully now it seems the game is ready to launch next year, with the latest Nintendo Direct press release also shedding a bit more light on the game that is still being kept tightly underwraps.
“In addition to the vast lands of Hyrule, the latest entry in the storied Legend of Zelda series will take you up into the skies and an expanded world that goes beyond that!” Nintendo explained.
“Look forward to Link’s massive adventure starting again when The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, drops for Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023.”
