Overwatch 2 most recently showcased some of the features coming to their game in the coming months at the annual Blizzcon.
With heroes such as Venture being teased for Season 10, Roadhog’s major rework is already getting some more tuning on behalf of Blizzard.
Here’s what we know.
Overwatch 2 November 17 Patch Notes- Roadhog Changes and More
While Blizzcon 2023 has passed now, players got to check out the brand-new Roadhog rework, which has ascended the character once again to the top of the tanking ladder.
However, his heals suffered during this rework and Blizzard noticed this right away, and have made the following adjustments to Roadhog.
Developer Comments: We’re adjusting a few things with the new Take a Breather, as our initial landing spot was slightly conservative. These tweaks should offer Roadhog more healing throughput and damage resistance from moment to moment. While we are shortening the maximum duration, this gives Roadhog faster healing and should alleviate some of the feelings players had around being locked into using Take a Breather for a large chunk of their gameplay.
- Total healing increased from 450 to 500
- Damage reduction increased from 30 to 40%
- Maximum duration reduced from 3 to 2.5 seconds
- Recharge time reduced from 12 to 10 seconds
Much needed we suspect, and this should make Roadhog more viable in team fights, even with the new rework!
