No this is not a belated April fools joke; an official Halo cookbook has been revealed, meaning we’re begrudgingly obliged to try and crowbar in a pun about becoming the Master Chef before we can proceed any further.
The book itself launches this August from Author Victoria Rosenthal, who apparently has released several themed cookbooks for games including Final Fantasy XIV, Fallout, and Destiny. Honestly, we can understand why some of those might have been made before. Food and RPGs go hand in hand. We’re still a little confused about how this links to Halo or Master Chief beyond our terrible pun, but hey ho.
