GTA Online Doomsday Heist Payout: All Player Splits For Normal and Hard

GTA Online Doomsday Heist Payout: All Player Splits For Normal and Hard

How much money do you make from the GTA Online Doomsday Heist? Unfortunately, the answer is a little less straightforward compared to most other heists released in GTA Online. Whilst it cannot be played solo, you can play the Doomsday Heist with 2, 3, or 4 different players, meaning the potential take can be split in a multitude of different ways.

There are also different levels of complexity to the heist, depending on whether you play on the easy, normal, or hard difficulty. This also plays a huge part in your potential payout too.

Add onto this the potential for repeatable challenges and bonus payouts and you’ve got quite a wide array of different ways to impact the amount of money you can make from the Doomsday Heist with every run at it. Don’t worry though, if you read on we’ll explain all you need to know about the setup costs and payouts in the GTA Online Doomsday Heist.

There once was a time when the Doomsday Heist was the most profitable way to make money in GTA Online. As one of the first GTA Online heists which could be completed with only two players, it meant a bigger cut of the payout.

Of course, since the release of the Diamond Casino Heist and Cayo Perico Heist players have been able to earn even greater payouts. Especially during event weeks with the addition of Diamonds or the Panther Statue.

However, we’d still suggest running the Doomsday Heist in 2022. It’s a really fun heist from start to finish and you can still earn a good amount of money when played two-player and on the hardest difficulty setting. Factor in the extra bonuses you can earn from Special Challenge Awards and we’d say there’s still plenty of reason to run the Doomsday Heist. Even if you don’t do it as frequently as Cayo Perico.

GTA Online Doomsday Heist Setup Costs

Before players can start the Doomsday Heist they will need to become a CEO/VIP of an organization or the president of a motorcycle club. Once you’ve done this you will need to buy a facility from Maze Bank Foreclosures. The game offers 9 different facilities to choose from and whilst they are all identical, prices will vary depending on location. We’ve listed the 9 Facilities below, but if you want to know which is the Best Facility in GTA Online, follow the link for a full explainer.

  • Paleto Bay Facility – $1,250,000
  • Mount Gordo Facility – $1,465,000

In addition to buying the facility, players will also have setup costs for each act of the Doomsday Heist whenever it is played. There are three different acts for the Doomsday Heist, and the payout for each act is listed below.

  • The Data Breaches setup cost is $65,000

GTA Online Doomsday Heist Payout Explained

The GTA Online Doomsday Heist payout is fairly unique, at least, it was when the Heist launched back in 2017. Here’s how the Heist works, as per Rockstar Support:

Missions for The Doomsday Heist have different awards based on the challenge level you select and the type of mission you’re playing. Some awards are only available once per player, while others have specific time limits or difficulty settings. Players can choose to complete the Doomsday Heist on Easy, Normal, or Hard.

You can monitor your award progress via the Stats > Awards > The Doomsday Heist tab in the Pause Menu. These awards do not have to be completed in one sitting and can be completed and tracked over time.

GTA Online Doomsday Heist Normal and Hard Payouts

UPDATE - As of the release for GTA Online The Criminal Enterprises DLC, all Heist Payouts have increased ever so slightly.

To encourage group play, all players joining Heist Setups will receive 50% more GTA$ than the current payout.

Additionally:
• The minimum cut for Finales is now set at 15% for each member
• The cost of Heist Setup fees has been reduced across the board to GTA$25K

With regards to The Doomsday Heist, Rockstar has stated that Act 1-3 will award an additional 50% GTA$ payout on top of the current takes listed below.

The minimum cut a player can receive for completing a Finale mission is 15%. Completing missions on Hard will increase the base payout by 25%. No cash is earned for failing missions.

Below is a breakdown of the minimum payout players can make if they complete each Act on Normal or Hard.

Do consider, the host will bare the setup cost, so strictly speaking, if you split the payout evenly, it’s actually fair. To help Redditor RDS08 did some quick maths to work out the potential payout splits based on whether you’re playing with two players, three players, or four players.
