FIFA 22 Ones to Watch: Release Date, Players And Players Pick, Predictions, How To Get And Everything You Need To Know

FIFA 22 has arrived at long last and it’s kicking off its full release with a bang – it’s time for Ones To Watch! This exciting promotion will see recently transferred players get special cards that evolve as the weeks go on. Here’s what you need to know about FIFA 22’s Ones To Watch.

Release Date

Ones To Watch begins at 6pm BST on the 1st of October and will run for two weeks.

What Is Ones To Watch?

The Ones to Watch is a series of cards that EA Sports released in every FUT game, shortly after the most recent transfer window. These cards focus on those that have recently moved to a new club. While they start with the same rating and stats as their regular card, each time they get an in-form card, their OTW card also will be upgraded (but unlike their in-forms their position will not change). If you invest correctly, you can get an incredible card later in the game and make a lot of coins.

Confirmed Ones To Watch Players List

EA has actually revealed quite a number of names that’ll be available within packs when Ones to Watch releases on the first.

Most of these players are household names that have recently transferred clubs, and you can view all of these down below.

  • Lionel Messi – 93 OVR
  • Cristiano Ronaldo – 91 OVR
  • Romelu Lukaku – 88 OVR
  • Achraf Hakimi – 85 OVR
  • Jack Grealish – 84 OVR
  • Georginio Wijnaldum – 84 OVR
  • David Alaba – 84 OVR
  • Ibrahima Konate – 78 OVR
  • Xherdan Shaqiri (SBC) – 79 OVR

This isn’t the full list of cards that you’ll be able to unpack, so we’ll be sure to update this page when EA announces the full roster.

We are predicting to see a few more cards such as:

  • Miralem Pjanic
  • Antoine Griezmann
  • Luuk de Jong
  • Sergio Aguero
  • Eduardo Camavinga
  • Emerson Royal
  • Daniel James
  • Takehiro Tomiyasu
  • Saul Niguez
  • Hector Bellerin
  • Nuno Mendes
  • Moise Kean
  • Marcel Sabitzer
  • Kurt Zouma
  • Aaron Ramsdale
  • Manuel Locatelli
  • Tammy Abraham
  • Raphael Varane
  • Cristian Romero
  • Ben White
  • Sergio Ramos

There’s plenty more that could arrive in the two featured squads, as part of SBCs and Objectives.

How To Get Ones To Watch Cards

There are only a few ways that players will be able to obtain these cards, the easiest method is pre-ordering the game, which grants you access to one of these cards at random. Or, you may encounter these cards by chance through opening packs. The last method is simply buying them off the Transfer Market.
