Diablo 3 Kanai’s Cube Location In Season 27

Diablo 3 Kanai’s Cube Location In Season 27

How do you get Kanai’s Cube? If you’re a new player first starting out in Diablo 3 this is likely going to be one of the first questions you ask when playing the game. Since, as items go, Kanai’s Cube is one of the most helpful and useful items when it comes to assembling some of the game’s best builds.

Thankfully, it’s not too difficult to locate once you know where to look, so read on and we’ll explain how to find Kanai’s Cube in Diablo 3 Season 27.

Kanai’s Cube Diablo 3 location

To get Kanai’s Cube you need to start a game on Adventure Mode. If this is your first time playing Diablo 3, you can unlock Adventure Mode for all characters by completing Act V with any character.

Once you start playing Adventure mode head to town in any act. Once there, talk to the spirit of Zoltun Kulle who will give you a quest that will point you towards the Cube’s location and provide some history behind its creation and purpose. The Kanai Cube location is in The Ruins of Sescheron, which is found in the top right corner of the Act 3 map.

Once inside, make your way throughout the ruins until you find the entrance to the next zone, which is called The Elder Sanctum. Inside is where you’ll find the Kanai Cube, normally sitting atop an altar surrounded by an orange glow.

Click on it and it’ll be transported back to town next to Kulle in every Adventure Mode zone.

Is Kanai’s Cube seasonal?

No, you will be required to find Kanai’s Cube at least once every new season. When you obtain the cube for one character it will become available to all seasonal alt characters on your account.

How to use Kanai’s Cube?

Once you’ve obtained the Cube, you can use it by selecting it in town. From here you can drag and drop items from your inventory into the Cube, then select the “Transmute” button to magically combine them.

However, the main purpose of the Cube is to destroy Legendary items and store their powers. Most Legendary powers can be extracted – these are typically highlighted in orange underneath an item.

You may use Kanai’s Cube to extract three Legendary powers at once; one from a weapon slot (main-hand, off-hand), one from an armor slot (chest, waist, legs, feet, hands, arms), and one from a jewelry slot (ring, amulet).

Essentially, you can extract all the good legendary powers from an item, without needing to wear it on your person. For example, the Ring of Royal Grandeur will reduce the number of items needed for set bonuses by 1. You could use this power in Kanai’s Cube, without needing to actually wear the Ring of Royal Grandeur.
