Friday The 13th Is Ready To Terrify Nintendo Switch Players

The Nintendo Switch community now has the chance to be chased by one of the horror genre’s most iconic killers.

Friday The 13th Is Ready To Terrify Nintendo Switch Players

Horror fans have long enjoyed watching Jason Vorhees terrorize camp counselors throughout the entirety of the Friday The 13th franchise. The release of the Friday The 13th video game was the first time fans could experience this terror for themselves playing as a group of counselors trying to escape the murder-filled rage of Jason.

Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch players have been unable to enjoy everything Friday The 13th offers, as the horror title has not been available on the popular console. However, the absence of the horror game on the high-profile console ended when the Friday The 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Edition arrived on the Nintendo Switch on August 13th. Nintendo has not been known for having extremely violent games on the various consoles it has released. This lack of more intense titles has changed with the Switch. Nintendo has shown a complete willingness to have third party games which are not for the squeamish available for players to play. Examples of these titles include the likes of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and DOOM.

Friday The 13th will no doubt bring some of the most violent and gory gameplay a Nintendo console has ever seen with its arrival on the Switch. However, the Wolfenstein and DOOM franchises have already introduced plenty of gore for Nintendo Switch players to experience. With this in mind, Friday The 13th will fit right in with the Nintendo Switch library of games.

Those not familiar with the gameplay Friday The 13th offers will be treated to a horror fan’s dream/nightmare of going toe to toe with the legendary Jason Vorhees. Individuals will either play as Jason to hunt down and kill the group of camp counselors in various wicked and gruesome ways. The counselors, meanwhile, who are fighting to survive have a variety of tactics they can employ. These tactics include teaming up to take down Jason, hiding and wait for the police to rescue you, fixing a boat and fleeing on the water, and many other survival gameplay avenues for Nintendo Switch players to take advantage of when playing.

Nintendo Switch players jumping into the world of Friday The 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Edition will be looking for advice to staying alive in the horror title. Anything to tip the odds of surviving Jason Vorhees.  One of these valuable tips is to always listen to your surroundings. Jason will make plenty of noise when he is searching for his next victim. These audio cues mean being aware of the sounds happening around you will help when it comes to not being the next victim of the infamous killer.

Friday The 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Edition has brought a brand new horror experience to one of the most popular video game consoles in the world on August 13th and is something Nintendo Switch owners and horror fans should give a try if they are looking for chills and an escape.
