Dead By Daylight Best Michael Myers Build (2022)

What is the best Michael Myers build in Dead by Daylight? Hopefully, this guide will help get to the bottom of that question as well as giving players all the information they need to help elevate their skills with the DLC killer from the Halloween Chapter.

Further down we’ll cover off his standard perks and powers as well as the perks we would opt for when trying to assemble the best Michael Myers build in Dead By Daylight. Naturally, this is subjective and we’ll always attempt to keep this page updated as new chapters and major updates are released.

Michael Myers Power & Perks

The Shape killer – better known as Michael Myers from Halloween – has three unique perks that can be unlocked for other killers via the Bloodweb.

Alternatively, you can also unlock them via the games Shrine of Secrets.

We’ve detailed everything you need to know about these 3 main perks, just below.

Perk Description
Save the Best for Last
(unlocked at level 30 in Bloodweb)
You become obsessed with one Survivor. Each time you hit a Survivor other than your Obsession with a Basic AttackSave the Best for Last gains 1 Token, up to a maximum of 8 Tokens:

  • Gain a stack-able 5 % Cool-down reduction on successful attacks per Token, up to a maximum of 40 %.

Each time you hit your Obsession with a Basic Attack, Save the Best for Last loses Several Tokens.

  • When the Obsession is sacrificed or killed, you can neither gain nor lose any more Tokens.

You can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

Play with Your Food
(unlocked at level 35 in Bloodweb)
You become obsessed with one Survivor. Each time you chase your Obsession and let them escape, Play with Your Food recieves 1 Token, up to a maximum of 3 Tokens:

  • Each Token applies a stack-able Several Percent Haste Status Effect, up to a maximum of Several Percent.
  • Performing Basic Attacks, or Special Attacks that can damage Survivors, consumes 1 Token.

Play with Your Food has a cool-down of 10 seconds on Token-accumulation. You can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

Dying Light
(unlocked at level 40 in Bloodweb)
You become obsessed with one Survivor. Each time you hook a Survivor other than your Obsession, you gain 1 Token:

  • For as long as the Obsession is alive, all other Survivors suffer from a stack-able Several Percent penalty to Repairing, Healing, and Sabotaging speeds per Token, up to a maximum of Several Percent or 11 Tokens.
  • The Obsession is unaffected by this penalty and instead granted a permanent 33 % Action Speed bonus to Unhooking and Healing other Survivors.

You can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

In addition to his standard perks, Michael Myers can also use his unique power called Evil Within. Here’s how it works:

“The Shape has three tiers of Evil Within, built by stalking Survivors. In Tier 1, The Shape has no Terror Radius and a reduced speed and lunge. In Tier 2, he has a reduced Terror Radius, returning to his normal speed and lunge. In Tier 3, he can instantly down Survivors with a lethal increased lunge for an extended duration before returning to Tier 2.”

What are the best perks for Michael Myers?

When creating the best build for Michael Myers, we would personally opt for the following perks to maximise his potential:

Infectious Fright – This perk is unique to The Plague

  • Whenever a Survivor is put into the Dying State by any means, all other Survivors within your Terror Radius will scream and reveal their current location to you for 4/5/6 seconds.

Monitor & Abuse – This perk is unique to The Doctor

  • Meticulous in your approach, terrifying in your application. Your base Terror Radius is increased by 8 metres.
  • Whenever you are outside of a Chase, your Terror Radius is reduced by 16 metres while your Field of View is increased by 3/5/10°.

Pop Goes the Weasel – This perk is unique to The Clown

  • A deep bond with The Entity unlocks great strength. After hooking a Survivor, Pop Goes the Weasel activates for the next several seconds:
  • The next Generator you damage instantly loses 25 % Progression.
  • Regular Generator Regression applies afterwards and Pop Goes the Weasel deactivates.

Whispers – This perk is a general perk for all killers

  • You have a rudimentary understanding of The Entity’s voice.
  • Sporadically hear the whispers of The Entity when a Survivor is within 48/40/32 metres of your location.
